摘要
Chinese government further strengthened its macro-control on rare earth industry in 2008. Mandatory planning policy was implemented in the production of rare earth minerals and smelted products. Management on production, energy saving, emission control and environmental protection in rare earth industry was further stressed. Resources integration was speeded up. Integration of rare earth resource regions involving Inner Mongolia, Sichuan, Jiangxi and Guangdong provinces attracted more concerns of the people.
