Analysis on the Present Chinese Translation of Some English Movie Titles

长期以来,英语影片名的汉译问题受到了翻译界的普遍关注。对于有些译法,见仁见智,也存在争议。本文在归纳总结一些英语电影片名的翻译方法的基础上,进而提出一套翻译标准,并得出结论:英语电影片名翻译应该与实践结合起来,并不断在实践中改进甚至改变方法。

For a long time, the Chinese translation of English movie title has been the genera/concern of some translators. This paper summarized a number of English movie title translation method, and then propose a set of translation standards, and concluded： English Translation of film titles should be flexible, and continue to improve in practice and even a change in methodology.
