从历史文献及前人研究的基础上看,桥山黄帝脚印石其即古来文献所描述的"履大人迹"、"履帝迹"中的巨人迹或帝迹。脚印石置于黄帝庙前,其作用在于瞻仰拜谒,更在为世俗的祈子仪式中展示为神圣的意象或道具。

On the basis of historical bibliography and predecessor＇s research, Yellow Emperor＇s footprint stone is the big man＇s or imperial footprint described as ＂footprint of a big man＂ or ＂imperial footprint＂ in ancient bibliography. The footprint stone was put before Yellow Emperor＇s temple with the function of paying respect and admiration, and more with the function of exhibiting holy images or props in the worldly son-begetting ritual.
