In her novel, Can Xue, from her typical narrative perspective, absolutrnessly overturns male＇s creed about female＇s aesthetic taste, and deconstructs thoroughly the consciousness of maternity, shows shadowness about maternity in traditional values. The ideality about the best mother and expectation of the best woman with ＂solicitude,tenderness and unselfishness＂ have been broken. Motherhood myth disintegrated.
