21世纪以来中国地理学研究出现了前所未有的繁荣局面,其研究哲学范式以实证主义为主流,呈现人文主义、整体主义动向.在研究方法上,表现出"计量"分析及数学建模纵深发展趋势,并强调计量分析和互联网技术的融合.研究内容呈现人文化、空间社会化、非物质化以及空间微观化等新动向,具体表现为:类型研究人文化,并趋向都市连绵区;空间研究"区"化、"群"化;社会空间分异、新贫困问题以及城市犯罪研究日渐凸显;城市化和城市体系研究是主流,呈现明显的非物质空间转向,以及社区居民行为微观研究趋势;城市休闲研究开始受关注,并成为新方向.

Since the 21st century the Chinese geography research appears unprecedented prosperous. The research philosophy model takes the positivism as a mainstream, presents the humanism, holism trend. The research direction displays the development trend of quantitative analysis and mathematics modelling, and emphasizes the amalgamation of quantitative analysis and the internet technology. The research content presents the new trend of humanism, the spatial socialization, non-materializing as well as the space microscopic. The concrete manifestations are： the type studies humanising, and tends to the interlocking metropolitan areas; The space research fouces ＂area＂ and ＂group＂; The social space differentiation, the new impoverished question as well as the urban crime research highlight day after day; The urbanization and the urban system research are mainstreams, presents the obvious nonmaterial space turning, as well as community resident behavior microexamination tendency; The urban leisure research is paid attention and becomes the new direction.
