On the Strategic Choices of China Ideology of Economic Development

新中国成立以来,我国经济发展思想经历了一个从"多快好省"发展到"又快又好"发展,再到"又好又快"发展的过程。这一过程深刻记录了我们对社会主义现代化建设伟大事业的艰难探索历程;充分反映了半个多世纪以来,特别是改革开放以来,中国经济发展所取得的伟大成就;鲜明体现了科学发展观的本质要求。我国经济发展思想的这一重要战略选择,开辟了中国特色社会主义事业发展的新的历史时期。

Since the People＇s Republic of China was founded, the guiding ideology of China＇s economic development has gone through such a process： from ＂do more with less＂ to ＂faster and better＂, and ＂better and faster＂. It has clearly recorded our difficult course to explore the great cause of socialist modernization; and it also fully re- flects that China has made great achievements in its economic development during more than half a century, especially since China＇s reform and opening.All these have clearly embodied the essential requirement of the scientific theory of development. China＇s important strategic choices in the guiding ideology of economic develop- ment has opened up a new historical period in developing the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.
