新形势下基于“五缘”优势的海西发展新定位

A new orientation of the development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits based on the five-relationship advantages in the current situation

"五缘"是闽台交流与合作的重要基础,"五缘"优势是海西建设的重要推力。本文分析了两岸关系新变化和海西发展面临的新形势,认为新形势下福建的对台优势局部范围有所弱化,但总体上将进一步增强和显现,要重新审视"五缘"优势,把握海峡两岸和平与发展新契机,发现、创新并发挥"五缘"优势,为推进海峡经济区建设和两岸经济与社会的全面发展创造条件。

The five-relationship advantages are important foundation of the exchange and cooperation between Fujian and Taiwan and driving force for building an economic zone on the west side of the Straits.In the new situation of the current change of the relationship between two sides of the Straits and the development of the economic zone on the west side of the Straits,some of the Taiwan-oriented advantages in Fujian have declined,but as a whole the advantages are certainly to increase and become remarkable.Accordingly we should discover,innovate and give full play to the five-relationship advantages and take the opportunity of peace and development on the two sides of the Straits,so as to create the conditions for building an economic zone on the west side of the Straits and all-round social and economic development on the two sides of the Straits.
