摘要
语言与文化密切相关。语言中的词汇反映出文化的内涵。英汉不同的文化背景导致颜色词(如红色、黄色、黑色、白色和青色)在两种语言中所蕴含着不同的文化内涵。
Language is closely related to culture. Vocabulary in one luanguage reflects the meaning of its culture. Different cultural connotations in the use of color words （such as red, yellow, black, white and green） between Chinese and English languages are based on their different cultural back- ground.
