论图书馆馆长的时代感——兼论其紧迫感、危机感、使命感

On Curators' Sense of Times——A Sense of Urgency,a Sense of Crisis and a Sense of Mission

新时期的图书馆馆长应具有鲜明的时代感。文章从承接上世、立足现在、着眼未来三个方面,揭示了"时代感"的内涵。承接上世,就是要继承先贤创造的精神财富和优良传统。立足现在,就是要有再学习的紧迫感;有面临读者流失的危机感;有为图书馆化解危机、使其顺利发展的使命感。着眼未来,就是要跟踪先进,推动图书馆事业可持续发展。

The curator in the library is supposed to have a clear sense of the times in new era. From three aspects： tradition undertaking; present - time basis; future orientation, the connotations of ＂sense of the times＂ will be revealed. Tradition undertaking is to create a succession of spiritual wealth and fine tradition created by sages. Present - time basis is to have a sense of urgency to learn; a sense of crisis to face the losing of readers; a sense of mission to defuse the crisis for the smooth development of the library. Future orientation is to learn from the advanced for the sake of a sustainable development of the library.
