功能核磁共振成像在脑中央区肿瘤手术中的应用

Application of functional magnetic resonance imaging in guiding neurosurgery of intracranial tumors

目的:探讨功能核磁共振成像(fMRI)在脑中央区肿瘤手术中的应用价值。方法:11例脑中央区肿瘤患者,手术前行fMRI,明确脑皮质运动区与肿瘤的关系。结果:11例脑中央区肿瘤患者的脑皮质运动区均在fMRI上获得确定,11例手术切除的肿瘤患者均达显微镜下全切除。术后神经功能受损症状未加重。结论:fMRI图像对脑中央区肿瘤术前制定手术计划、评估手术风险,术中选择手术切除肿瘤的进路等非常有益。

Objective： Investigate the efficacy of functional magnetic resonance imaging（fMRI） in the treatment of patients with intracranial tumors in motor cortex. Methods： Eleven patients with tumors in or directly adjacent to the central region were studied with blood oxygen level-dependent（BOLD） fMRI. These data were analyzed to confirm the relationship between the tumor and the motor cortex. Results： The motor cortex was confirmed with fMRI in all patients. Total tumor resection were accomplished in all patients, and no more postoperative neurologic deficits occurred in all patients. Conclusion： fMRI was very useful in assessing the risks of operative intervention and in planning tumor resection.
