Innovation on College Students' Ideological and Political Education Based on the View of Scientific Development

科学发展观是加强和改进新时期大学生思想政治教育的根本指导方针。高等学校要坚持以科学发展观为指导,树立"以人为本"、"学生第一"的理念,促进学生全面发展;要确立协调协作的观念,力求政治思想教育工作系统化;确立长远目标,克服短期行为;完善领导体制和工作机制,创新思想政治教育途径和方法。这样,就一定能提高思想政治教育实效,促进学生的全面发展,真正培养一批批德智体美全面发展的社会主义现代化事业的高素质建设者和接班人。

The view of scientific development is a fundamental guiding principle which can strengthen and improve college students＇ ideology and political thought. Colleges and universities should foster students＇ comprehensive development, with the guidance principle of scientific devel opment and the ideologies of ＂ People-oriented＂ and ＂ Students First＂. Also we should establish the view of cooperation to strive to make a systematic political and ideological education; to set long-range objectives and overcome short-term practices; to perfect the leader system and working mechanisms; to innovate the way and method of ideological and political education. Thus, ideolog ieal and political education can be improved and students can be developed in an all-round way-morally, intellectually, and physically to become high- quality constructors and successors to the cause of socialist modernization.
