Design of Courtyard Space in High-rise Residential

中国正处于一个高速城市化的发展阶段,城市向着高密度的方向发展已是大势所趋。庭院住宅是中国人千百年来的理想住居,然而,在当今高密度的城市中,人们已经很难感受到庭院空间的生活乐趣。本文归纳总结了现代高层住宅建筑庭院设计的类型和特性,为将来高层庭院建筑的发展提供依据。

China is in a high-speed development stage of urbanization. Toward to high-density urban development is the trend. Courtyard Houses are ideal homes for Chinese people for thousands of years. However, in today＇s high-density cities, people have been very difficult to feel the courtyard space life. In this paper, I will summarize the types and characteristics of the modern high-rise residential building in order to provide a basis for the future development of the courtyard.
