＂Standard Forms of Chinese Regular Verse＂ by Wang shizheng has more important values in Chinese prosodic history, it presents the concept of defect- resolving at first time that influenced all of research works in Qing dynasty, on the other hand, however, it rendered the idea of avoiding the situation of level tone being alone, which follows the defect - resolving concept, modifies profoundly the idea that the tone arrangement can be free in the fast,the third and the fifth position and that must be strictly contoured in the second,the fourth and sixth position in a verse.
