文章介绍了中国联通2G网元进行2G/3G互操作的功能需求描述,使现有的GSM/GPRS网设备具备2G/3G互操作功能,从而保证3G用户在GSM/GPRS网和WCDMA网中的业务使用连续性。
The paper introduces function requirement to support 2G/3G interworking of the 2G network elements in China Unicom. GSM/GPRS network elements can handle 2G/3G interworking, so thai 3G subscribers have the successive services between the GSM/GPRS and WCDMA network.
