The paper presents the current fields of phosphogypsum application with analysis being given of the existing constraining factors in the process of phosphogypsum utilization in technology, market, economy, policy and other areas and suggests that the production process control of phosphoric acid makes the primary quality of phosphogypsum different from the one of natural gypsum, and the available technical research level and the national macropolicy restrict the massive utilization of phosphogypsum. Its solutions are proposed from the perspective of technology, national policy, enterprise itself and others and the status of utilization of phosphogypsum by Wengfu Co., is described.
