摘要
针对传统远程教育环境实时交互性不足的缺陷,提出一种基于Windows Sockets的高性能实时交互式远程教育环境服务器的设计方法,该服务器能同时为多个网络虚拟教室提供实时交互式的网络教育服务,每个网络教室能在教师主控、分组讨论和自由讨论等3种模式间动态切换,四级权限管理机制能有效地维护教学活动正常进行,实现了即使以一台普通的PC机作为服务器,也能向校园局域网内用户和Internet用户提供网上教学直播、网络实时音视频答疑、数据协同和讨论等较大规模的实时交互式教育活动环境.
Aiming at the deficiencies of conventional distance educational environment in real - time interactivity, the paper puts forward a design method of high - quality real - time interactive distance educational environment server( RIDEE for short) based on windows sockets, the server can provide real - time interactive network teaching services for several virtual classrooms at the same time, moreover, each network classroom can switch dynamically among the modes of traditional classroom, group discussion and free discussion, four - level right permission management can safeguard effectively regular teaching activities. Only running on a common PC, the server can provide the large - scale real - time interactive teaching activities for users of LAN or internet, such as living broadcast of network teaching, network real -time video and audio answering, data collaboration, discussion and so on.
