Many exhibitors at ITMA 2007 were showing a variety of machine innovations aimed at reducing constantly rising energy costs. The latest innovations in discontinuous and continuous machines for pre-treating textiles and for dyeing and scouring, as well as in wet and dry application processes and fixing, were on show at the fair for examination by the visitors. Manufacturers have concentrated on meeting their requirements by optimizing the design of their machinery and by improving and combining the waste heat recovery and recycling systems
