摘要
在对我国虚拟图书馆相关文献统计的基础上,通过分析虚拟图书馆的产生背景及其与电子图书馆、数字图书馆的区别,研究了虚拟图书馆的概念界定和类型划分。发现我国大部分与虚拟图书馆相关的文献,多是从"基于传统图书馆的虚拟图书馆"和"网络学科(或领域)导航型虚拟图书馆"两种类型入手,开展分析和研究。
Based on statistical analysis of associated documents in China, virtual library was analyzed in the aspect of its background and also compared with electronic library and digital library. Its concept was defined and its categories were tentatively given. Two categories of virtual library mainly appeared in the research of China： one is virtual library on the basis of traditional libraries and another similar to discipline or field guide for its network resources.
