摘要
提出一种高效的EPON动态带宽分配方案,即多标准带宽请求动态带宽分配方案(MRMC)。MRMC采用分步请求/集中授权的轮询机制,ONU向OLT提出多个基于不同标准的带宽请求,OLT权衡选择授权带宽。该分配方案既考虑了ONU适时队列负载情况,又解决了阻塞帧问题,同时兼顾了公平性原则,进一步提高了EPON的工作效率。
this paper presents a novel dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm for EPON(Ethernet passive optical network),named MRMC( Multiple bandwidth requests with multiple criterions dynamic bandwidth algo-rithm).MRMC adopts a polling scheme with requests one by one and grants all together, ONU provides OLT with multiple bandwidth requests based on multiple criterions ,OLT chooses and grants optimal bandwidth for the ONU. The algorithm takes actual overload of the queue into account, overcomes the big frame question in the head of line, in the meantime, it is fairly, and improves the efficiency of EPON much more.
