本文针对实用主义思想指导下很多大学学生轻视英美文学的现象,从文学的特征和功能,人的需要的角度切入,探讨了文学与历史,文学与人生,文学与作家,文学与读者四对关系,论证英美文学对当代大学生的阅读价值和现实意义。
The phenomenon of students＇ neglecting the importance of learning literature under China＇ s material-oriented society,the paper tries to analyze the feature,function of literature and the relationships between literature and history,life,author and readers, respectively,the author probe into the value of reading English literature again.
