摘要
Objective: To evaluate the clinical significance of quantitative determination of serum lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and beta 2-microgtobulin (β2-MG) in patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). Methods: Date of the 65 patients from 2003 to 2004 were retrospectively analyzed, relationship between LDH and β2-MG activities and tumor phase, effect of treat- ment as well as prognosis were studied. Results: The levels of LDH and β2-MG in the advanced stage, B group and bone marrow involvement were obviously higher than their comparison counterpart and the difference was significant (P 〈 0.05). There was no significant difference between the high LDH group and normal LDH group in the two-year survival rate. But the difference in the four-year survival rate was significance. Conclusion: The level of LDH and β2-MG are valuable for clinical stage, prognosis and evaluation of therapeutic response in patients with NHL.
