To build 35kV simple temporary substation is a relatively ideal interim scheme for solving power supply-demand contradiction in areas, where power grid construction can not satisfy the more increase of load. This paper introduces a kind of 35kV simple temporary substation, which has higher performance-price ratio, lower investment, smaller occupation of land, and shorter construction period compared with box-type substation. This paper describes characteristics of the simple temporary substation, as well as its existing defects and solution.
