摘要在各国环境诉讼中，美国环境公一民诉讼制度无疑是最为成熟和极富特色的公益诉讼类型，自实施以来，对美国乃至全世界环境法律的实施和发展产生了深刻影响，成为各国在构建环境公益诉讼制度时所不可回避的考察对象。其中，地球之友等环保组织诉莱德劳公司案（Friends of the Earth，et al．v．Laidlaw，Inc．）对美国环境公民诉讼的发展有着重要影响。
