This article discusses the relationship between the urban design in the phase of establishing regulatory planning and it as well as its main research content, analyzes the urban design methods of areas with regulatory planning from aspects as deepening planning, optimizing spatial form, perfecting road traffic, refining environmental landscape and guiding architectural design, explains the idea of ＂five-in-one urban design＂, discusses the feasible ways that make the idea of urban design feed back to regulatory planning in order to develop the fruits of urban design.
