摘要 高精度时间间隔测量在很多方面有着重要的意义。时间间隔计数法是高分辨测时的最有效方法。设计了一种基于脉冲计数原理的高精度时间间隔测量模块,该模块采用ADF4360-6频率合成器产生1.2 GHz高频参考时钟,由于该时钟信号为LVPECL电平,需要将其转换为ECL电平。AD9515解决了这一关键技术。MC100EP016分频器实现对高频ECL信号分频计数。由于该时间间隔测量模块是电磁波时域反射电缆测长仪中的一部分,该模块的性能可以通过电缆测长仪验证。实验证明该模块具有较高精度,可以被广泛应用于时间、频率测量领域。 High accuracy time interval measurement has become a key technique in many applications. The time interval is most commonly digitized by using a high speed counter and a stable, high-frequency clock. A module design on high precision time interval measurement based on ADF4360-6 and ECL dividing was proposed. Based on pulse counting principle, ADF4360-6 frequency synthesizer was implemented to generate 1.2 GHz reference clock. The output logic level of ADF4360-6 was LVPECL and it should be transferred into ECL logic level. The transition from LVPECL to ECL was the key technique of the design solved by AD9515. The corresponding output of AD9515 was divided and counted by MCIOOEP016 frequency divider. As the time interval measurement module was part of the cable length measuring system based on the reflection of electromagnetic wave, the performance of the module was obtained from the cable length measuring system. Experiment proves the module is of high precision, it can be widely used in the field of time and frequency measurement.
