摘要
柯林武德是英国著名历史学家、哲学家和历史哲学家,其思想体现出唯心主义、理性主义与相对主义的特点。"一切历史都是思想史"是柯林武德历史哲学思想中的一个核心命题,也体现了他的历史哲学是一个自律的思想体系。理解柯林武德的这一命题,不能离开他提出这个命题时所面对的实证主义史学传统。"一切历史都是思想史"的真正意义是,历史学家在考虑历史当事人所处外部环境影响的前提下,重新思考当事人在其中进行思想活动的历史。
R.G.Collingwood is British famous historian,philosopher and philosopher of history,whose thought embodies the characteristics of idealism,rationalism as well as relativism.'All history is the history of thought' is an important proposition in his thought of philosophy of history,which also proves his philosophy of history is a self-disciplinary system.In order to understand this proposition,we cannot disregard the tradition of positivism history to which he belongs.The true meaning of 'all history is the history of thought' is :historian must consider the influence of exterior surroundings in which historical agents live,and then historian rethinks the history of thought action which historical agents engender.
