Deadlock and its Treatment for Compiling Multiuser Program with Network

用户要在ＮＯＶＥＬＬ网络系统环境下工作，应建立起多用户的共享程序和数据库文件。在开发多用户应用程序时，因两个用户在同一时间不能锁定相同文件或数据，因此，可能在运行时因访问共享文件而发生“碰撞”，导致死锁。本文，作者对死锁产生的条件、防止方法及产生死锁后的处理进行了探讨。

A user must set up multiuser shared routine and multiuser database file if he wants to work with Novell network system.Two users can not lock the same file or data at the same time. When they develop multiuser application program. “collide” mayoccur and lead to deadlock while different users run the same program and share the same files.This paper discusses the factors of deadlock emergence, methods of avoiding deadlock and treatments of deadlock.
