A Probe into the Demand Analyses in the Development of Management Information System

本文作者根据十几年开发管理信息系统的经验及目前管理信息系统开发的现状，对管理信息系统开发中的需求分析问题进行了探讨，认为在目前的技术条件下，需求分析的质量是决定管理信息系统成败的主要因素。需求分析涉及了多个学科，除了技术因素外，还需要各方人员的共同努力，才能保证需求分析的质量。

In this paper, based on over ten years experience of exploiting and developing management information system (MIS) and in accondance with the present situation of MIS development, the author probes in details into the demands for MIS devolopment and holds that under present condition the quality of demand analyses is a chief factor deciding whether MIS is a success or a failure. To ensure the quality of demand analysis, great efforts are needed by all the members involved in addition to many technological factors for the reason that the demand analyses involve many respects and subjects.
