陆机才高博洽,工于诗文,辞采富赡,其才思与作品备受时人及后人的赞赏。从西晋经东晋至南朝,诸多文士或继承其创作技巧,如陆云学习其模拟技巧、陶渊明承袭其挽歌诗创作手法、谢胱追踪其锤炼字词技法等;或评议、鉴赏其文学作品,如张华、葛洪、刘勰、钟嵘等皆通过品评的方式对其诗文予以褒扬;或选录其名篇佳作,如萧统《文选》,采用的具体方式虽不同,但都对陆机之作予以高度评价,体现出较大范围、较高程度的接受。
