The expression of signal with orthogonal wavelet packet is mathematically graceful and succinct, but the proved fact is that the whole members of orthogonal wavelet packet family with compact support has not generalizing linear phase, so the signal can not be reconstructed without distortion. This paper proposes a kind of semi orthogonal wavelet packet B - Wavelet Packet, which has generalizing linear phase, and with which the reconstructed signal can be carried out without distortion. This is of very important in signal processing on engineering. The example available in this paper shows its superiority.
