摘要
从离子运动方程出发,用峰形分析方法对离子的质谱峰进行数据再处理,首次从飞行时间质谱谱峰峰形中获得离子产生时的空间分布信息。这种峰形分析方法可以广泛应用于分析飞行时间质谱的各种离子源中离子的分布。
A new data analysis method for peak profile analysis (PPA) of TOF-MS is initially developed in this paper,based on the kinematics equation of the ions in the Wiley-Mclaren double accelerating field.The initial space distribution of the ions in one dimension produced by ionization in the field can be obtained from the PPA.The PPA is applied to analyze the peak profiles of the mass spectra in our TOF-MS experiments. The initial spread space distribution of the ions provides a direct evidence to the ionization mechanism as photoelectron impact instead of MPI. In general, this method can be applied to any kind of species in the Wiley-Mclaren type ionization source of TOF-MS.
