Zeng Shusheng, a character created by Bgjin in his novel ＇ Hanye＇, has always make us reflect on the women problem at that time. This paper provides us the reason why its reasonable and inevitable for Zeng Shusheng to run away from home, by analyzing on her identity as an intelligent woman and her economic and spirit status in her family.
