Nmethyl diphenylamine4diazonium bisulfate(NMDDB) was synthesized and its thermal as well as photochemical decomposition was investigated.The results show that NMDDB possesses rapid decomposition rate towards UV light and exhibits higher thermal stabilities as compared with that of diphenylamine4diazonium bisulfate(DDB).The polycondensation product of NMDDB with formaldehyde and its potential using as photosensitive agent for preparation of negative presensitized plate (negative PS plate) was reported.
