《通天塔》以行为怪异、精神障碍和畸变的聋女,间接表现女性在电影中的角色定位。影视里的女性始终处于次元素地位,作为男权话语和分析框架中的客体,女性立场含混和模糊。真实女性形象的缺失,是一个先天残缺和无不错误的选择。

By acting a weird, mental aberration, abnormal and deaf female, Babel indirectly reveals the status of women in movies. In film and television, female always plays a minor role. As an object in the male discourse and analytical frame, the position of women is vague and ambiguous. The lack of real female image is an inherent flaw and wrong selection.
