The Respondence of Metaphor in Chinese and English based on two Different Thinking Modes

隐喻作为一种修辞手法,深深植根于人类的语言思维和文化中,由于中西方民族思维方式不同,因而在其语言隐喻表达上也存在差异,只有重视语言中的思维因素,才能更好地掌握隐喻的表达和使用。

Based on the dialectical relationship between language and thinking, this thesis aims to study how the different thinking modes in China and western countries exert influence on metaphor in respective language.
