数据仓库是数据库的发展方向之一,对企业管理和决策支持起着重要的辅助作用。简要介绍了数据仓库和元数据的基本概念,重点阐述了元数据的功能、管理、CWM标准、来源,并就元数据具体应用进行了初步的研究和探讨。
The data warehouse is one of database development directions, it plays an important function of assistance to the business management and the decision-making. This article briefly introduced data warehouse and metadata the basic concept, elaborated with emphasis the metadata in the data warehouse system function, management, CWM standard and source. Preliminary research and the discussion about the application of the metadata database were conducted.
