天水旅游景点介绍翻译问题之探析

An Analysis of English Introductions to the Scenic Spots in Tianshui

随着中国旅游业的迅猛发展,旅游景点翻译的力度也进一步加大,但目前中国旅游景点翻译的质量良莠不齐。作为甘肃省重要旅游地之一的天水市,在旅游景点翻译方面存在着拼写、印刷及标点符号错误、语法错误、随意增减原文信息和翻译缺位等问题。针对这些问题,分析了其存在的原因并提出了省译法、组合法、增译法、转换法和综合法等翻译技巧。

With rapid development of Chinese tourism industry, English introduction to scenic spots is also increasing, though the quality of tourism translation in China is not satisfying. Tianshui city, as one of the important tourist destinations in Gansu Province, has many problems in the English translations of introductions to the scenic spots.
