旅游业具有"无烟产业"和"永远的朝阳产业"的美称,它已经和石油业、汽车业并列为世界三大产业。改革开放以来,我省的旅游业有了非常迅速的发展,但是省内旅游业发展的广度和深度都远远不能适应经济发展和人民生活水平提高的需要。随着市场经济的发展和人民收入水平的提高,研究和探讨山西省旅游业发展的现状、趋势具有十分重要的意义。

Tourism, considered as ＂Smokeless Industry＂ and ＂Forever Sunrise Industry＂, is one of world three industries together with oil and auto. Since the reform and opening- up, tourism in Shanxi province is developing rapidly, but its width and depth of tourism are not enough to improve economy development and people＇s living standard. With the development of social economy and income level, it plays an important part in discussing recent situation and developing trend of tourism in Shanxi.
