结合学校培养创新型人才的发展目标,西南交通大学图书馆大力建设与推行"一核心二支撑三结合"工程,建立以《信息检索》系列课程为核心的信息素质教育平台,本着"基于资源的开放学习、提高普及效率、方便学生沟通"的原则,使图书馆成为信息素质教育基地,着重培养学生的信息素质和创新能力。

Combining with innovative personnel training of Southwest Jiaotong University, the library of this University develops and implements strongly the project of the ＂one core, two support and three combination＂. Meanwhile, the library of this University aims to establish the platform of information literacy education on the core of series of information retrieval courses. On the spirit of open study, improving efficiency and communicating easily, we build the library into a base of quality education and cultivate the students＇ ability of information literacy and innovation capabilities
