“礼崩乐坏”新释——先秦礼乐的传播学研究

A New Explanation on "LiBengYueHuai": the Ceremony Music Being a Kind of Media before Qin Dynasty

从音乐作为媒介这一角度来看,春秋战国时期的"礼崩乐坏"可以有一个全新的阐释。作为传播手段,礼乐曾经是先秦时期礼仪制度的最主要的媒介,但随着文字的发展成熟和广泛使用,文字取代了礼乐,使礼乐失去了原有的重要地位。用文字的视觉便利取代礼乐的耳口相传,这是春秋战国时期"礼崩乐坏"的媒介技术原因。因此,"礼崩乐坏"作为春秋战国时代各种发展、破坏、革新的"社会大事件"之一,实质也是媒介技术发展使然。

Viewing music as a kind of media, this paper gives to a new explanation on ＂LiBengYueHuai＂ in the period of ChunQiu-ZhanGuo times. Firstly, being a tool of communicates, ceremony music was a main media of etiquette system before Qin dynasty. But with the developing of the characters, the characters became to the main media of culture, so it made ceremony music lost its position. This was the media technique reason of ＂LiBengYueHuai＂. Secondly, the times of ceremony music was a times of ear-to-ear, and the later times of characters was a times of development of vision. So inevitably, there were huge changes in culture along with the media technique＇ s developing. Times of ChunQiu-ZhanGuo was exactly the first period of Chinese history of culture changing and booming. And in such times, ＂LiBengYueHuai＂ was just one of the events of all kinds of developing, destroying and renovations. And it＇s an inevitable.
