中国科协与美国科促会的科技奖励比较

A Comparative Study on the Scientific & Technological Awards of CAST and AAAS

中国科学技术协会与美国科学促进会及其学会的科技奖励各有特点。通过对两者在设奖规模与奖励对象、奖励方式及奖励效果等方面的比较,可借鉴美国科学促进会的如下几点做法,完善中国科学技术协会的奖励:1)增设专业细化或目标明确的奖项,而减少每一奖项的授奖人数;2)强化义务教育中的科技教育奖励;3)推广提名制;4)加强国际化。

Both of CAST （The China Association for Science and Technology） and AAAS （The American Association for the Advancement of Science） with their affiliated societies established their own special scientific ＆ technological awards. By comparing the awards of both the institutions on the follow- ing aspects： numbers of awards and intended recipients, reviewing process, and performance, four methods of AAAS are suggested for CAST to adopt to promote its awards： I ） Establishing more awards with focus on specifieal subject or particular intended recipients; 2） Establishing awards for science and technology teaching in primary education ; 3 ） adopting nomination by third part peers; 4） forwarding awards internationally.
