A New Muskmelon Cultivar 'Zheyong 2'

‘浙甬2号’网纹甜瓜为中熟品种,果实近圆球形,平均单果质量1.3kg左右;果皮底色青绿色,网纹中密,中等粗细,分布均匀;软肉型,果肉浅黄绿色,厚约3cm;果实中心糖度一般在15%以上;产量27t·hm-2左右;抗白粉病。

＇ Zheyong 2＇ is a new mid-maturity muskmelon cultivar. The fruit is nearly spherical. The average fruit weight is about 1.3 kg. The ground color of its pericarp is light green. The fruit net on pericarp is well-distributed, moderate in density and width. The variety belongs to soft-flesh type and its flesh is light yellow green with thickness of 3 cm. The soluble solids content in the center of fruit is usually more than 15%. The fruit yield is about 27 t.hm^-2. And this cultivar is resistant to powdery mildew.
