There appeared a large number of “backward female images” in the fictions with materials about the collectivization of agriculture in 50s-70s in the 20th century. These images exhibited poor morality and bad family background, and they were gluttonous, lazy and sick. The probable origin that this kind of images sprang up was the fanatic agriculture collectivization which was a movement to form people's communes across the countrYside and made a serious labor insufficiency. It was also the display of tense relationships between this radical movement and the females' marriage, reproduction, health and female identities. At the same time, it was also a “symptom” which could not be averted in the narratives on the collectivization of agriculture.
