摘要
采用双辊混炼法制备了丁苯橡胶/有机蒙脱土(SBR/OMMT)以及丁苯橡胶/Na-蒙脱土(SBR/MMT)复合材料,采用透射电子显微镜对复合材料的亚微观结构进行了表征,并对复合材料的力学性能、硫化特性进行了研究。电镜照片显示:OM-MT在SBR基体中以纳米尺寸均匀分散,而MMT彼此吸附聚集、结块;力学性能表明:OMMT对SBR补强效果显著,这说明经有机改性后的OMMT与橡胶分子链具有良好的相容性;OMMT在硫化过程中可降低SBR的焦烧时间/Ts、正硫化时间/T90,并且提高了硫化速度/VC,然而MMT却表现出对硫化进程的抑制作用,降低了硫化效率。
Styrene -butadiene rubber ( SBR )/Na ^+ -montmorillonite (MMT) and styrene-butadiene rubber ( SBR ) / organomontmorillonite(OMMT) composites were prepared by two roll blending method. The dispersion of layered clay in SBR matrix were characterized by TEM. The results of TEM showed that OMMT dispersed uniformly in the SBR matrix while MMT conglomerated severely. The effcct of MMT and OMMT on the mechanical properties and cure characteristics of SBR were studied. Mechanical tests showed that OMMT has a excellent reinforcing effect on SBR,which mainly contribute to a better compatibility between OMMT and SBR molecular chains. OMMT and MMT exhibited two different effects on the vulcanization properties, OMMT behaved as an effective accelerant agent for SBR vulcanization by decreasing the Ts ( scorch time), T90 ( time for 90% cure ) and incresaing Vc ( cure rate index).
