摘要
在电镀生产中发现,用氨水调节镀镍溶液的pH,镀件的光亮度下降。用霍尔槽试验测定了铵离子对镀镍溶液性能的不良影响,结果表明:向镀液中加1 g/L氯化铵,试片的光亮度就受到影响,加至5 g/L,试片的光亮度明显下降。生产实践和试验表明,不能用氨水调节镀镍溶液的pH。
It was discovered that during the electroplating production, that the brightness of nickelplating coatings became decreased when ammonia was added to a nickel plating bath to adjust pH. The adverse effects of ammonium ions on nickel plating solution were investigated by Hull Cell experiments. The results show that, the brightness of the coatings is influenced by the ammonium ions when 1 g/L of ammonium chloride is added to the test-solution. And influence in highest extent occurs when ammonium chloride increase to 5 g/L. Production practices and experiments indicate that ammonia is not a appropriate additive for adjusting the pH of a nickel plating bath.
