摘要
1997年5月6日，云南昭通地区发生了两次大型泥石流灾害．本文对这两次泥石流灾害的灾情、诱发的人为因素、自然因素进行了剖析，并根据山区城镇潜伏的泥石流灾害，提出了相应的防御对策．
On May 6 and 8, 1997, two massive debris-flow events took placeZhaotong, Yunnan province. The condition of the debris-flow disasters and theirartificial and natural causes are analyzed. Also the countermeasures against the potentialdebris-flows in and near the towns in mountain area are set forth.
