Construction Machinery Exports Will Grow

全球矿产资源日益紧缺,粮食安全得到空前重视,这些对工程机械有着直接需求的产业,将拉大我国工程机械的出口空间。

China’s construction machinery imports and exports in 2008 were valued at USD 19.44 billion with an annual growth rate of 15.64%. The import value of USD 6.02 billion and the export value of USD 13.42 billion represented increases of 21.8% and 54.3% respectively from 2007. There was a favorable balance of USD 7.4 billion. In the f irst quarter of 2009, China’s construction machinery imports and exports totaled USD 2.95 billion, a year-on-year fall of 30%. The imports during this time were valued at USD 1.09 billion for a year-on-year decrease of 19.9%, and the export value amounted to USD 1.86 billion, a fall of 34.7% compared with the corresponding period in 2008. China’s construction machinery industry has suffered from the global economic downturn less than other industries because infrastructure construction, to which most engineering machines are applied, reacts more slowly to economic turbulence. And some newly emerging markets offer many opportunities for machine manufacturers. Therefore, China’s machinery exports will grow at a healthy 10% or so, though the global market will continue to dwindle.
