汉英词语“搭配”的文化成因探析

The Cultural Causes for Chinese and English Collocations

"搭配"是自然语言中普遍存在的词组表达形式。文章首先对"搭配"的定义及相关概念作了界定,然后着重对汉英词语搭配中的习惯搭配差异及其文化成因进行了探讨,认为把习惯搭配这种语言现象放在两种甚至更多的语言环境中进行横向对比研究更具有现实意义,并在此基础上对汉英习惯搭配中的差异作了对比分类。

Collocations, as one type of phrasal expressions, exist universally in natural languages. This paper first gives explanations for the concept and related terms, and then focuses on the differences of Chinese and English habitual collocations. The cultural causes for the differences are major concerns as well. Finally, the author, holding the belief that it should be more pragmatically significant to make a contrastive study of habitual collocations between two or more languages, tries to make a tentative classification of Chinese and English collocation differences.
