In February 2008, Lee Myung-bak published a series of new policies on science and technology after he acceded to Korean president. The paper mainly introduces the content of ＂ The 2nd Science and Technology Basic Plan （2008-2012）＂ issued by the government, analyzes and summarizes the government＇ s science and technology policies, for references to relevant people.
