《洛丽塔》,又名《一位白人鳏夫的自白》,是美国后现代主义小说的经典之作。其作者纳博科夫别具匠心地设计了小说的结构,布局异常复杂,内旋形的结构十分独特,就像是一个螺旋构建的螺旋。另外作者还使用戏仿、巧合、作品中嵌入作品等手段,使小说在结构上相互关联、相互交织、相互缠绕,但又螺旋展开,内旋发展,体现了很强的自我意识性、虚构性和游戏性。在艺术创作中,纳博科夫坚信任何作品的独特性都在其独特的结构中。就是这种复杂而独特的结构使《洛丽塔》成为二十世纪少有的超级原创性小说之一。

Lolita is a masterpiece of American post modernistic novel. The structure of novel is rather complex which is just like a spiral. It also uses several methods such as parody to study the structure in order to show the self-consciousness of the novel. And the author believes that every piece has its typical feature which makes Lolita becomes a masterpiece.
